ANNA LYNCH: WAKE UP – SINGLE REVIEW

Manchester newcomer Anna Lynch has officially arrived with her stunning debut single, ‘Wake Up’. Known for lighting up local stages with The Untold Orchestra and Candlelit Concerts, Anna is now stepping into her own spotlight, and the result is dazzling.

Wake Up is a jazz-infused soul pop track that glows with smooth vocals, bright melodies and warm instrumentation that wrap around you like a golden hour haze. Listening to the song feels like Anna is pulling back that last ray of summer and holding it over you for just a minute more.

Anna wrote the song with producer Rhys Jiang one summer afternoon in his Pollard Yard studio. “I think as women we can be so hard on ourselves, but this song is here to hold you in those moments and remind you you are more than enough,” she says. The message is gentle and powerful at the same time, urging listeners to wake up to their worth and embrace every part of themselves.

After a string of acclaimed live appearances, including Outer City’s Women In Music showcase and a recent headline show at Band On The Wall that was a glowing success, Anna is ready to share more.

As autumn starts to creep in, Wake Up feels like the soundtrack to the final days of warmth, and it has us counting down to whatever Anna has planned next.
