SHADE: “BREAK OUT” SONG REVIEW

The talented musicians of SHADE, hailing from the bustling city of Manchester, have unveiled their latest track today, ‘Break Out.’ This single marks the inception of a new era for the band as the track showcases a unique blend of modern alternative rock elements, infused with a fresh twist that’s bound to captivate listeners. The lyrics are both pulsating and meaningful, and the sonic experience is nothing short of exhilarating. The upbeat vibes are sure to get you moving, and the quintessential Manchester sound adds a touch of nostalgia to the whole experience.

Produced by Gavin Monaghan, who is aristocratic for working with some avant-garde musicians including the likes of The Blinders, Sherlocks, and Paolo Nutini at the renowned Magic Garden Studios; Break Out by SHADE has a familiar sound yet a refreshing vibe. Macca’s lead guitar work in this piece is undeniably SHADE’s trademark sound. He skillfully weaves in and out of the melody with precision and flair, providing an electrifying performance that is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Meanwhile, the Clare brothers provide a rock-solid backbone with their rhythm section, locking in perfectly with Macca’s lead to create a cohesive and harmonious sound. However, what sets this particular track apart from previous ones is the sheer intensity and invigoration that it brings to the table.

With Luke Owens on guitar and lead vocals, Adam Clare on bass guitar and backing vocals, Oliver Clare on drums and backing vocals, Ben Mcdonough on lead guitar, and Mac McCartney on the keyboard and backing vocals, this band’s talent is undeniable. Their previous single, ‘Illusive Dreams,’ caught the attention of former One Direction member and solo artist Louis Tomlinson, who personally invited them to perform at his annual Away From Home Festival in Italy last year. They shared the stage with other well-known artists like Blossoms and The Cribs.

Paving the way for 2024, SHADE have many UK festival performances lined up paired with their fast-approaching Manchester headline show at the prolific Manchester Academy on 23rd of March, you can grab tickets here.
