Pop princess, Alessi Rose, took to the stage in Manchester for the third night of her most recent tour, The Voyeur Tour on Wednesday.
Since her For Your Validation Tour at the beginning of the year, Alessi has toured with superstars Dua Lipa and Tate McRae, and also performed on the Pyramid stage for her Glastonbury debut. She has grown massively during this new era, and has certainly cemented herself as the future queen of pop.

Although the temperatures were sub-zero, eager fans queued the streets outside Manchester Academy. With bows in their hair and excitement running through their veins, they warmed the atmosphere, and you soon forgot about the winter chill. Alessi’s support artist, deyyess, certainly set the right tone for the whole show, with her girl in red – esque pop tunes entrancing the whole crowd! I must admit, I had only listened to one or two of her songs before the gig, but I left as a new fan loving all of their songs! One of my favourite things about going to concerts is the pre-show set list, and how it brings everybody together before the artists actually comes on stage, and as Chappell Roan’s The Subway blasted out, I could feel the anticipation of the crowd building.
With only an hour long set list, fans were left begging for more! Alessi’s discography is quite diverse, filled with both upbeat pop tunes and slower paced ballads, but for every single song, the crowd knew every single word. She definitely has learnt from the best, as Alessi’s stage presence is unmatched for artists of her generation, as she jumped and danced around on stage (aptly wearing a tutu). Every track was performed with so much passion, it’s clear to see she will go so far in the industry! The slower ballads of Stella and oh my resonated with many fans, phone torching waving slowly back at the stage. Yet, the Voyeur (Deluxe) tracks of First Original Thought, Get Around and Falling Forever were clearly favourites, while having only been out for less than two weeks!

Alessi Rose’s perfomance was beautiful, against the backdrop of the EP cover, and the crowd connected with every sing she played – quite a rarity these days. Personally, I’ve been a fan of Alessi’s music since her debut EP release, and her growth since then has been incredible. It’s clear to see that she is the next big pop star! If you get the chance, I highly recommend seeing her live, before she starts selling out stadiums as the headliner, not just the support act!
